From Wednesday 5 September to Sunday 9 September Applico Limited, the official Smeg partner in New Zealand, were present at the Auckland Home Show, with the largest appliance stand at the exhibition with over 250 appliances on display. The stand also included live cooking demonstrations by a team of chefs, and a timetable of inspiring design seminars for people seeking expert advice about renovating or extending, upgrading or simply wanting to know how to purchase the right kitchen.
A key feature on the Smeg stand this year was the new SMEG FAB28 Denim fridge, one of only a limited number produced worldwide. A spectacular cake replica of the Smeg FAB28 Denim fridge was also on display on the Smeg stand during the fair, and was cut and shared by a number of lucky visitors on last day! Applico teamed up with the cake baker Sugarcoated to offer visitors the chance to win a bespoke cake for their company or party if they ‘checked in’ to the Smeg stand or mentioned Smeg on Twitter - @trendsideas, #spacemodule or #imaginenow @akhomeshow.
